Instructions
Combine flour and milk in a saucepan over medium heat. Whisk until thickened (150°F), about 2-3 minutes.

Transfer tangzhong to a stand mixer with dough attachment. Add yeast, milk, sugar, butter, egg, and salt. Knead until smooth and tacky, 15-20 minutes.
