Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Combine dates and water in a saucepan, bring to a boil, then simmer until dates are soft and most liquid is absorbed.

Cool dates, stir in baking soda. Prepare a baking dish with parchment paper and oil spray.
